Two VERY Special Events!

Posted Date: 10/26/24 (9:43 AM)

On Friday, October 25th, we had two very special events at RHES:
Ram of the Month AND our PTA Halloween Party!

As soon as students arrived at school, we had our Ram of the Month celebrations with grades 1-4. Once per month, we come together to celebrate the academic and character achievements our students are making. Each teacher picks a student who deserves to be recognized for their outstanding progress within the classroom and our school. The consistent message this month was that our Ram of the Month recipients are showing excellence not just in their classrooms, but in every location they travel to within the building. We discuss the RAMS way with our students, which means we help them understand how to be Respectful, Accountable, Motivated, and Successful. As teachers present their awards, the RAMS Way is always at the heart of why a child receives this acknowledgement. Below are pictures from yesterday's celebration!

Major kudos to all!

On Friday night, our PTA, which is led by President Cortlyn Waterman, held a Halloween party. Students had a blast as they traveled in their costumes playing games, dancing, making crafts, and decorating cookies and finally heading to the parking lot where over 30 community members, families, and local organizations set up a Trunk or Treat. A HUGE thank you goes out to all of those who set up their elaborate Halloween displays in the trunks of their cars, trailers, and trucks to bring spooky fun to RHES students. We also need to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work of Mrs. Few and Mrs. Westman who planned the event for our students and community. Thank you also goes out to the many volunteers who worked each of the stations throughout the school...this event would not be possible without you. (To see more pictures from the event, click here)

Happy Halloween!
