The purpose of every database is to store information, text, images, and media files.  Each academic database covers a predetermined range of subjects and coverage dates, and is updated according to their internal operations.  Moreover, each database employs a different data retrieval access language, meaning, it matters what words you use to search for information.  This may affect the results of your searches.  Please contact the Library Media Specialist for assistance.
